Baptist Health Care serves as the area’s only not-for-profit, locally owned health care system whose sole purpose is to help families connect the dots between prevention, lifestyle and physician-directed care.
Baptist Health Care (BHC) comprises three hospitals, four medical parks, a behavioral health network, child protective services, work placement for persons with disabilities and an institute for orthopaedics and sports medicine.
Our team is award-winning and for patients who experience a serious diagnosis that would normally require travel outside the region, we collaborate with a national leader in medical research to provide answers here at home. Our membership in the Mayo Clinic Care Network places evidence-based medical research and clinical innovation at our fingertips. Our physician experts and Mayo Clinic experts work on some very difficult cases so that you don’t have to leave the area for care.

Our organization dates back to 1951. We are the only locally owned nationally recognized health care system in the area with a personal interest in being your care provider. Our passion for caring is evident through involvement in our community’s health. We’ve made it our Mission to help people throughout life's journey.
